About

Hi, I'm Cassie.

I work with charities and public sector organisations, where research done badly means real people get let down.

Good research asks uncomfortable questions. It challenges what a team thinks it knows, reaches the people who are usually too hard to hear from and turns what it finds into something that actually changes decisions.

Charity and public sector projects run on tight budgets and tighter timelines. That means smart methodological choices, not cutting corners on what matters: reaching the right people, including those who are harder to access and those who use assistive tech.

I use AI in my research practice, carefully and critically. It extends what's possible. But when the stakes are people's access to healthcare, education or human rights, the judgement has to be human.

Off the clock

The household

Half renovated house. Vegan dinners. Long train journeys. A slow art collection. The eventual plan for an animal sanctuary. For now, three small creatures rule the place.
